The Bristan W BASIN08 C product received does not function correctly. The holes in the waste body and in the removeable central plunger (see photos) are too small to allow water to drain, even with just water running form the tap. It has been necessary for me to cannibalise the old and new products to make a functioning waste. In the photos below, the new product is shown on the left, and old one shown on the right. The reduction in drain capacity can easily be seen.
