Do nearly everything you could ask for, and do it well.
These DECT handsets are really good. I don't often rave about tech gear because whatever it is there will be pros & cons. However, the only thing I can say about these handsets is they do just about everything, and they do it well. My only gripe is that setting up a new Phone Book Entry is a bit of a chore, Upper Case, Lower case, Numeric and Category means it's a couple of minutes per entry and it get tiresome. It does allow for up to 3 numbers per person in the phonebook which is handy and very like a mobile phone. The other feature that you sometime see on DECT landline phones is SMS Text capability. Sadly, these phone can't do that. Other than those gripes, the phones are excellent, lightweight, largely intuitive to use (you will need the manual for some feature though), easy to set up & get started. The base unit/answer phone works well and can be operated by the handsets. It would score 6 out of 5 if you could wall mount it though (lol!). A useful feature for me is the 2.5mm jack for a headset/microphone. This is invaluable if you work from home or spend a lot of time on conference calls and use a keyboard when talking on the phone. Much better than speaker phone (which these have) which is very intrusive if there are other people around or you stray outdoors.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good functional phone; plenty of room for improvement
A good functional phone with a large phone book. Never really sure why the main speaker is on the back of the phone when most users of hands-free put the phone down face up which partially masks the speaker. Data entry is also very cumbersome. The automatic duplication of phone numbers to sister phones is good but it would also be useful to duplicate 'speed dial' numbers across the phone with the option not to. It would also have been very useful to have been able to copy phone books from older panasonic models to newer models, getting rid of the need to enter all the data again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good looking handset with clear screen. It was simple to set up. It has plenty of useful features and ample storage capacity for the phone book and recorded calls. It will announce the callers name when the phone rings if it is a number in the phone book. You can then decide if you want to interrupt what you are doing to take the call. The intercom function is useful and also the baby monitor for those who need it. Yes I recommend this product. Does what we wanted

Good quality and visually pleasing but a little complicated to set up.
I like the loudspeaker facility but am disappointed in the complicated way of getting to install your own message on the answer facility. Seems too much effort to have to contact my provider to do so. The instructions could be more straightforward as well. I found them rather disjointed.
