The 3 Tier Garden Potting Bench is a compact and lightweight work station for your gardening needs. The Bench is constructed of wood and features two storage shelves and an upper potting table. The unit is raised off the ground and has feet to protect from soft or wet conditions all year around. The Top of the workstation has 3 retaining sides, protecting your plants and soil from falling away, making a neat working tray. The tray is covered by galvanised steel and is easy to work on and keep clean, easily brushing away any soil or debris. Just the job
It’s a great potting bench. It arrived well packaged and all the contents of the flat pack were correct. It’s a very good design and was relatively easy and quick to put together. When complete it’s very sturdy too. I did it on my own. It is a bit low, I’m 5’8 and would have to bend a little to use but I will rectify with a couple of blocks. Bought in haste - repenting at leisure
The description is fairly accurate, but I was still a bit disappointed with the end product. Description says material 'wood' - and so it is - but just one step up from balsa wood I'd say. Sturdy and light weight - certainly once it is assembled but not perhaps as robust as you would like for a garden work bench. I have bought and fitted stainless steel screws throughout as mild steel versions supplied would rust in no time. Can't do anything about steel staples holding the top on and these will rust. The wood is very light in weight and has been shown a mere cosmetic coat of something brown, so thorough additional treatment essential if it's going to be located outside. Many comments relate to the working height - it is very low - I've chocked mine up by 12 cm to get to a half reasonable height for someone about 1.7M tall. Suspect that the dimensions determined by packaging/shipping considerations rather than the need for a sensible working height It does assemble easily and finishes up as described but it's still pricey for what it is. Looking around for something better made from proper treated timber as not confident that this will last that long.

Worth the value but not the Rolls Royce.
Having purchased this , I was delighted that it was able to be sent to the British mainland INCLUDING the HIGHLANDS. Full marks to seller. The product is easy to assemble although no tools are supplied with the kit. I would though have liked to be able to order longer legs as due to me being above average height of 5'8" it is slightly awkward on your back and I believe the option of being able to purchase longer outside panels wouldn't cause much price difference. The metal top shelf is very good but could benefit from a taller back panel as most people will use this shelf for potting compost and the size does not allow much to be stored at the point of use. The middle and bottom shelfs are decent size to allow storage of most empty pots and of various sizes. I did think a disappointment was that on the purchase picture it shows side hooks added to bench giving the impression they ARE included but when it arrives they are not even an extra option.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Are you standing comfortabley?
As I am now a 'lady of a certain age!!' I was thinking about the approaching Spring Season, and all the re-potting, and cutting's etc. that make a start to the garden growing season, and realised that it would make the job very much easier to stand-up!! So I turned to my friend Ebay for a solution, and decided that a planting bench was the ideal answer. The one that I chose, was not the cheapest, but, as it had 2 shelves in addition to the galvanised top - I made my choice, and it is Wonderful!! My Husband, put it all together for me in about 10 minutes, (as it came as a 'Flat Pack'!!) and even He was very impressed!! It is a lovely height, is longer than I thought, and is really well thought out, it is even painted, and has rubber feet, to protect it from the bad weather! Love my potting bench!

Good for the price
Very easy to construct with extra screws included. I purchased two, and one went together with ease. The second was not quite so easy, in that one piece of wood was slightly split, and another was not cut to the precise length required. More indoor than outdoor
I bought this to use out of doors. It arrived promptly and was easy for this 74 yr gran to put together. It is flimsier than I would, ideally, want. small and compact.
This product is OK. It could do with being higher. We have put ours on blocks to get a good height. The legs could be more robust. It will do for now as a handy table but cannot see it lasting years. Lightweight but easy to build
