It does its job well, although quite thin.
The plastic is quite thin but it looks tough and durable. Because it is thin, it isn't terribly easy to cut holes in the top for pipes to pass through, but it isn;t particularly difficult either. Ok, but not great, and not heavy duty.
Only version I could find that's suitable to cut your own holes for pipes at odd angles, sinks etc. Found them very thin and brittle and difficult to cut ending up with various splits and cracks. Good if have an off-centre downpipe.
The cover was supplied with 2 small plastic pieces in a plastic bag taped beneath the cover. I assume these are for fixing, but with no diagram or instructions, i can’t work out how to use them. Drain Cover where you can cut out for offset drains
This is the choice if you want to cut out to suit your pipes. I had a square down pipe and three round drain pipes. I cut the square with a Stanley knife and the drain pipes with a hole saw, in each case a slit to an edge to peel on. The result was a perfect fit. The screwed securing swivel tabs fitted to the wall held the cover securely in place. Cheap, Cheerful. Looks ok fitted but only if cut with the right tools
Given 5 star in all categories mainly due to the price which is cheap. Item is a bit flimsy and I can understand why others have seen breakage when cutting. Needs right tools. I used a hole cutter in a drill and an electric hi speed plunge saw. No problems. Hand sawing may well give problems.
