The bracket is touted as a heavy duty item, but the situation I was in was that I wanted to put two stereo speakers on them . The problem with them is the universal swivel ! , when you have a medium to heavy piece of equipment on them the joint won’t hold them in position. Not a chance , so in effect they won’t do as they are marketed for. Another problem is that the plate that would hold the item that you want to put up on the wall is not long or far enough from the wall . So you can’t swivel the speaker in my case or any item as it would be up against the wall, so why have a swivel joint at all. The arm holding the shelf plate should be longer and the swivel joint should be able to be licked in position by a bolt and nut , not the plastic handle that is on at present. Regards Joe.

Very strong (my speakers weigh 5kg each) and easy to install. I suggest you buy big bolts and appropriate wall plugs and make sure that the wall can support the weight - don't screw them onto plasterboard/timber framed walls with wood screws and expect them to hold up to the weight as they do extend quite far from the wall and exert an appropriate leverage on the fixings.
