Hudl Charge Board
These have always been the weak spot of a Hudl, especially on a well used one where wear & tear can loosen the socket solder or can get bent, plug is loose in socket so contact is erratic or non existent. Easy to install replacement. Hardest part is removing Hudl back cover. After that you need to remove the battery from its bay, though you can leave it connected. Then disconnect ribbon cable, undo 2 small cross head screws to remove old board. Replace new one then same 2 screws back in secure board, connect ribbon cable, replace battery, and replace back cover. User will still need to be careful when using the charger as they are not really designed for heavy use and mishandling.

Easy to fit
I have repaired all my Grandchildren's Hudl's (6 in total) they are too heavy handed when plugging in the charger or using the tablet when plugged in and pulling on the cable. The repair only takes me less than eight minutes from start to finish. I recommend this product, but take your time when fitting it for the first time.
