I'm A Derby Blade Runner.
As a new DE shaver, but not a new wet shaver, these are perhaps my favourite blades so far for a good clean workaday shave. They perform well without being over aggressive and leaving you with that sore feeling for a couple of hours afterwards that can occur with the really sharp Feather blades for example. As all these things can vary for different skin types, beard thickness and so on, it really is best to find the best blade for you, and that can only be done by trying as many brands as you can.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just OK
Just purchased the 100 pack of these Derby “Premium” blades as I’d been tempted to try Derby blades but reviews were always hit & miss, so when i saw “Premium” i figured these blades must be something special, sadly for me thats not the case, the blades are not that sharp and after my first shave using these blades this morning i didn’t get a close shave, and my skin is left sore with a burn. My usual choice of blades are Feather, but these are pricey so i also use a more budget blade of choice Gillette 7 O’clock which for me are way superior to these so called “Premium” blades by Derby Remember that different blades suit different people, some people may find these perfect but if my first shave is not sharp I’m unable to see how I’m likely to get 3 or 4 shaves per blade like I’m used to with my other choices.

really good shave.
I have only tried one of these blades so far and it's lasted me a week, it's a really sharp blade and a good shave, I would compare the sharpness of this blade to my Mother- in- law's tongue and that is extremely sharp. to all those that has never used these blades, always remember after shaving to remove the blade from the razor and clean and dry both of them, before re-uniting them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very nice blades
These blades do not last quite as long as the ones I used before. BUT: They are very sharp and very gentle at the same time. You do get a really good shave and there are far fewer nicks, almost none! And because they are a good bit cheaper as my previous blades, their shorter lifespan does not matter so much. So yes, they deserve to be recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
