I have now used the egg-boiler twice and like my eggs soft boiled so opted for water up to the number 2 sign on the filler cup, but the eggs were too soft so tried 2 1/2 and it was just great. Great little cooker that takes all the guess work out of getting your egg cooked to the right density, once you found your level...... 2 eggs straight from fridge - cool, with 35mls water, cooked for 10 mins, then the device switched off, giving you hard boiled eggs !
