Effective as an alarm, but not so good as a light
The bulb is not very bright and doesn't have a very wide beam angle, it's also a very unsatifyingly cool colour temperature. However, the reason I bought this is because the rubbish fridge in my rented house doesn't close properly half the time and we've lost so much food as a result. For alerting me to an open/ajar door, it does a great job. The timers for flashing light (10 secs) and alarm (20 secs) are too short and should be 30 secs and 1 minute in my opinion.

FRIDGE BULB ALARM.
This is a very good idea to help save money and will help you to keep your fridge at the right temperature, as if you leave the door open the light will flash and then sound an alarm.
