  • Read, learn and rejoice that life can go on even with dementia!

This is the uplifting story of a woman who was told she had early onset dementia when she was head of a big non medical department in a large hospital, and how she crawled back out of a deep dark hole, and lived to enthuse and befriend and educate so many people across the world. Dementia is the new cancer in that people are so scared to even mention the word because they feel 'well, that's it then.' It will be 'it' at some point, but not yet! Read Wendy's first book and be reassured that life can go on, and that there is still lots of love and laughter along the way.

  • Everyone should read this brilliant accessible book

Eloquent, informative, honest and open hearted. Now I have some real understanding of how it feels to live with dementia. And it's a real page turner! Bravo, Wendy! And thankyou for this book and everything you have done, and continue to do, to increase awareness and knowledge of the disease you valiantly live with and try to outwit. We all need to know this stuff. We all need to be open to, and have knowledge of, what it is like to live with dementia. So we can respond positively and helpfully. A truly amazing, brave and big hearted woman. And great writer. Thankyou for the opportunity to get to know you a little bit.
