I bought this as a 1st telescope a few weeks ago as Id become interested in astronomy. The 20mm eyepiece is pretty good and easy to locate objects in the night sky and focus. The 4mm is too small to be functional though. Its field of view is very narrow, The 3x barlow is un-useable. I could not get a focus with ether of the supplied eyepieces when using the 3x barlow. I bought a cheap 2x barlow which worked well so Im assuming the 3x barlow is just too powerful for the telescope. I found the guide scope to be quite difficult to adjust. So in summary while this is a decent cheap telescope and probably fine for viewing terrestrial objects, Id advise spending a bit more and getting a dobsonian reflector telescope rather than this or similar. Ive since bought a 150mm debsonian reflector which id strongly recommend as a first telescope. Read full review
