the title and visual description did pull you into the film.again all down to comic book artists/genius.
venom was an ok watch as long as you did not take it too seriously. it started off quite well with decent characters. the story line kept it rolling along at a decent pace until towards the end when venom quite friendly towards its host. they should have kept venom as a real hostile creature and had another type of ending . all in all well acted , directed, filmed, fantastic action, and another hit for the company. keep up the good work especially for comic book fans and this type of action films.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Expectation was greater than actuality.
To be clear, the product (disc and case) arrived in perfect condition - no problem with any of that. However, the film was actually not great. A dull and quite dated feel to the story, generally less than amazing graphics, run of the mill characters - it doesn't compare to any previous similar films in terms of quality. Some parts of it are amusing and occasionally even poignant; the adorable Tom Hardy does his best to interrupt the predictability with a fair portrayal of a man descending into physical, mental and emotional chaos.
