Post-apocalyptic action film MAD MAX - FURY ROAD is the fourth film of the MAD MAX franchise, and the first in 30 years. Tom Hardy stars as Max, who meets Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) and agrees to help her cross the desert. On the run from Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), the two rebels must escape the madness and seek sanctuary. Also stars Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Riley Keough and Zoe Kravitz as three of five girls, also rescued, who were being kept as objects to mother the next generation.

Great movie
Remakes or reboots always have a stigma about them, mainly because most are not up to the original standard or change to much of the core concept. Mad Max does not do that, it stays faithful to the original trilogy post apocalyptic style or vehicles and people while introducing a new group of characters, very enjoyable film and we'll made with many of the stunts being real and not CGI. Great film.

Endless boring (for me) car racing
If I'd known this was about car races I wouldn't have watched it all the way through. After the first 15 mins I was bored, and, much as I like Tom Hardy and rate Charlize Theron as a good actor, there was very little substance in this film for me. I prefer the original Mad Max trio, not one of those bored me.

Great and up to date,
Always great to see an update of a classic, there is less emphasis on mad max in this film, which is fine, there's a lot more going on in the story line, not to mention special effects. And of course there is always a place for the originals or we would not have the updated film. So ive seen this new one a few times to date, so that's good.
