Safe Haven - frothy, but a film to distract from current dreadful news bulletins
I was expecting a cheesy B-movie and in a way it is, but the characters are very well rounded and although not a stellar cast the acting was good with well depicted personal chemistry between the leads. To be honest I was looking for a film to distract from the dire happenings in the news and this was perfect for that. A good escapist yarn, well told and with enough 'twists' to keep one watching. The author may not be Tolstoy but told a good story.
