£30 worth of superb pain relief, control &; power!
Over the years I've used and been through many TENS machines, and I can tell you price has no bearing on how good they are. I use two mainly now, the Natures Gate high end 130MA unit and this 150ma machine. It's a very comfortable machine to use as each TENS has its own feel as it fizzes on your skin. This is perfect for anyone not wanting to be blinded of science, and even though I understand the frequencys and bandwidths that can help different pains, the manual mode offers this control. but Modul II is the setting for the best pain control. And the power is fantastic, most TENS go up to 80MA this one goes up to 150MA, and if you wanna feel the true power have silicone rubber electrodes with conductivity gel taped to your area of pain, they offer much more signal than self sticking electrodes, though 'Healthcare World' do the best IMHO. Bottom line is this unit is built well, not as fancy looking as some! But the money has been spent inside it where it counts, save a fortune and buy this TENS, it's extra power and controls cover what another tens offer, apart from N.G's top end model, but for the non technical minded who just want the pain to be blocked I can't recommend this enough, and im talking about someone who's had 25 years of TENS machine usage and knowledge, with the money saved kit yourself out with electrodes and surgical tape, as you still need tape to go over the sticky electrodes as they will fall off, plus tape to strap the excess cables to your body. I hope this has been of use, I am no way associated with this company, just a chronic pain sufferer, and trust me had this machine been rubbish I'd have been blatantly honest on that side too, but rest assured this is a gem in the TENS world for power, a good sized LCD panel, functions, plus one of the most powerful units out there, and ease of use and effectivenessVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have been using a TENS of this model for some years now, and would not be without it. You can set the controls to suit your own needs, and choice of time to set is very good. I always keep a spare TENS in stock - just in case - but they are very long wearing, and the batteries also last a good time. I like that the battery "low power" is on the screen, because then you don't get the surprise of it suddenly not working, and you can put new batteries in easily. The clip is very useful to clip onto a skirt, and the front flap coming over the top means you can't accidentally move the controls. The very large patch is ideal for my really dreadfully destroyed and unrelentingly painful spine, due to being a student nurse in the 5O's, before 'HOISTS' became the essentials for heaving '50+stone' stroke patients, in and out of bed, rather than two little student nurses having to really struggle to heave them! Of course there is no official recognition or compensation for the few of us who have managed to survive, but in constant and tremendous pain. The 'TENS MACHINE' does give some pain relief, in the absence of public and official recognition of the trauma that we 'old nurses' now suffer constantly, and we have to purchase our own brief remedies, in the form of such relief, as...........Yes, the Tens machine which does give very temporary but welcome relief!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Probably the best TENS machine you can find for under £30
This is an excellent TENS machine at a very decent price. I have bought three of them in the past few years, one for my mother and two more for friends of hers who tried it and commented on how much better it was compared to the ones they had. It is more powerful than other similar machines I have tried and it is very easy to use. The control panel is well laid out and self-explanatory. It also has a timer, which can be a very useful feature. Unlike most TENS machines you can find, this one has a big LCD screen with clear displays which give the user the ability to see exactly what settings are being used (frequency, pulse width, programme, time remaining and intensity). Comes complete with batteries, cables, electrodes and user manual in a handy case. excellent for both pain and stress.
powerful enough to block pain, and gentle enough to massage, this has extra settings more than most tens machines and are a bonus, they give you a very wide range of control over what you need rather than just pre-sets. it uses AA batteries which are cheaper than PP3 batteries and are widely available. you can use just one channel or both depending on what you need at the time both are variable so two can be used for different purposes . over all very good machine and I have found no downsides to it. well worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
