Beautifully crafted intelligent rock music
A friend lent me his copy and, not having heard any Big Big Train before, I wasn't particularly impressed. But I listened a few more times, and then a few more, and then a few more... and suddenly realised that this was my favourite album for quite some time. I could have made a copy and Big Big Train would never have known, but I felt that I had to buy it because the artists more than deserve that respect. If you're into intelligent progressive rock rather than the hundred notes per millisecond über-technical rubbish that has been masquerading as prog for the past two decades, this is an album for you. And, as I'm now discovering, it's an excellent doorway into a large catalogue that I didn't previously know existed. Highly recommended.
