Depeche Mode: Serious Musicians
In my opinion DM are a serious group who make interesting electronic music. Most of their albums are worth hearing, they are not jammed full of hits but are well written recorded and produced. Buy any album then buy another and repeat.

Ultra cool, the dark sound of "The Mode".
I have been attracted to the music of Depeche Mode since around 1984, when they had several hits with their unique sound. Ultra is the more mature album, the tracks are darker, which is why they are one of the most popular bands from the 80s, having more hits in the 90s, when this album was released. I recommend Ultra to anyone who enjoys the synth-pop and art rock sounds of Depeche Mode, their cool music will live forever!!
