  • Classic Italian crime drama

TheTough Ones was made in 1976 and it still has the power to shock today. This is a classic slice of Italian cinema, directed by Umberto Lenzi, known in Italy as Roma A Mano Armata on its initial release, and starring Maurizio Merli, Tomas Milian and Maria Rosaria Omaggio. These were made in a particular style and under Lenzi's direction was one of the stand out Eurocrime films of its time. Lenzi had already made a number of crime dramas in the early to mid 1970's with Tomas Milian. The picture quality on this Grindhouse release is superb with some very good extras on the disc. Very highly recommended.
