For its size, price& range of beaters that came with it u won't find better value for ur money & while it isn't as versatile as a top-of-the-range Kenwood/Kitchenaid mixer with all their various attachments IT'S THE BEST OF ITS KIND ON THE MARKET. It's definitely better than.my previous RACHEL ALLEN (Irish celeb tv chef) which is very flimsy in comparison tof my new ANDREW JAMES mixer. I would, without hesitation, recommend ANDREW JAMES products to anyone who, like me, is on a tight budget.I have an ANDREW JAMES hand mixer digital steamer & now my new mixer. OK, but a couple of annoying issues
Issue 1: No cover provided. Issue 2: Is moves around when at high speed, so you can't leave it. Issue 3: Stuff gets trapped in a rim above the attachment and it is virtually impossible to clean it out (I had to use tissues squashed and slid into the gap). There is a screw, but the instructions don't mention taking this apart and when I tried, I couldn't budge the screw. Hope it's clean enough.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a great little mixer, great for making cakes, frosting, whisking, struggles a bit with bread dough, just tried a small dough mix, & you can see it could do with a bigger motor! If you want to make a lot of bread, get a bigger one. The paddles are excellent, especially the rubber edged one. Easy to clean, do not put the paddles in the dishwasher, good old soapy water works! It also has a plastic splash guard, make sure you lower it onto the bowl before you start mixing & put your hand over the feed hole, I just put it on, & had a small puff of flour everywhere! Not as bad as my hand whisk, which was terrible. Over all, I am very pleased with my new mixer, & have made several cakes & cookies, happy baking!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for the money.
The mixer works well but the instructions aren't great. It tells you to push and turn clockwise to attach the paddles but in fact they need to be turned anticlockwise. The dough hook copes pretty well with 1kg of flour although you can't knead for a long time. The flanged beater is very effective and shoots the flour out the hole of the cover unless you put your hand over it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Absolutely brilliant, easy to use, it is so much easier than an electric hand mixer, it is so quick. I made 8 cakes in one day whereas it would have normally taken me 2 days. sadly made down to a price.
Had the old version of this (the metallic red one) for donkeys years, what a brilliant piece of kit. Bought this as a replacement, what a disappointment, cheaply made in comparison, didn't mix half as well. Now after 5 months it has packed up..... lift button no longer works.
