it's has always had screen protector so screen is great. new protector included. the phone powers on and works as expected. BUT the battery is in bad shape. phone works plug in, and when changed lasts between a few minutes and a few hours. if you want to use without plugged into power, you will need a replacement battery.

Photographer's dream
I went from the Nexus 5 to the 5X because of the camera reviews... it's brilliant, much faster autofocus than the 5. Excellent resolution though native camera app a bit dreary, prefer Camera MX. The fingerprint reader has only failed to work once and I had been digging Devon soil and my finger prints were pretty well hidden. All the usual Android apps work fine and the internal speaker is better than some reviews led me to expect. I bought two, one cheap that needed a new camera (£20 on eBay) which was easy to fit.
