A Fun-Read...
This is the third or fourth 'Owner's Workshop Manual', I have now [regarding these topics], from Haynes Publications. As with all their books [I've a dozen or more of their actual 'repair manuals'], this one appears to be well written and some excellent content [as is their actual repair manuals of specific automotive marks]. I bought it for a 'lark', and once it arrived, found it to be a pretty good read [although I am not done with it yet]. The FW 190 is well covered, both A/F and D models, IT IS NOT a 'do-it-yourself' fix/repair one's FW190, if you catch my meaning. However it does cover many components and systems on the 190's. I bought it because I am a modeler and have a half-dozen of more 190's, ranging from 1/48th to 1/24th Scale, to build. The material presented to the modeler is outstanding, regarding aircraft detail. Therefore a plus, for me and my modest endeavors. If ones a modeler or armchair historian interested in this subject matter, then I'd say add the book to your collection - You won't regret your investment.
