  • An eye opener of a book.

As a study in guerrilla warfare and the politics that drives them this is a good example. Knowing many Rhodesians and their love of the country and it’s people, and having worked there under the dictatorship of Mugabe, it was nothing short of a criminal act to throw the country to the dogs for short-term party political gain. This book will open your eyes, if you are of a mind to, to what really happened. The current state of the country shows just how wrong so many decisions made were, and not only in Rhodesia.

  • Fascinating insight to Rhodesia

As well as the gritty contacts in battle, the book paints a much fuller picture of the Bush War in Rhodesia. The preface is a very powerful opening to the book. Very, very readable and compelling history. What a mess the liberal elite made of Southern Africa. A geographical knowledge, or a quality reference atlas of the area is helpful
