Check your bike before buying!
Although I had the official Shad mounting kit on my bike, I was amazed to find that the SH23's didn't actually fit. This is because of the top opening lids foul one the of the passenger hand grips on the bike. When I investigated, it does actually say the SH23's don't fit my bike, having naively believed that having an official 3P mounting kit, and 3P panniers it really ought to have worked. What is even more annoying is that a few spacers would have solved it easily. Why don't they supply them? It's shame also that there is no carry handle to use when you take the panniers off - another bit of poor design. Shame really because if you want some nice slim, well made panniers, these tick the boxes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice item, good price, but marks very easily
They're fine and they fit the lines of my Kawasaki Vulcan 650s well, but they do seem to attract marks. Scuffs, keys, boots, even your nails leave marks on the cheapish plastic they are covered with - and am yet to locate a product which i can use to restore or protect them from future scuffs.
