Among millions of Holocaust victims sent to Auschwitz II-Birkenau in 1944, Priska, Rachel, and Anka each passed through its infamous gates with a secret. That the gas chambers ran out of Zyklon-B just after the babies were born, before they and their mothers could be exterminated, is just one of several miracles that allowed them all to survive and rebuild their lives after World War II. The horrors of Nazi regime bought to life
All the horrors of the Nazi extermination regime are brought to life in this remarkable book. Wendy Holden certainly did her homework, for beside interviewing the three children and one of the women who survived the holocaust, she added so many lesser known facts about this sickening period in world history. Having personally talked to Eve Collins (one of the three babies born in a concentration camp) following a talk she gave to members of the Bedford U3A, Born Survivors makes their story and unlikely outcome even more remarkable.

Didnt enjoy
The books text was a little to small for me, i felt like there was loads of writing on each page and also didnt like how the author used alot of had words and meaning instead of using everyday launguage we all understand others may like it though
