  • Builds Confidence

This is a great book to help young children interested in learning to draw. 7 year old was getting frustrated while trying to draw certain things, and this easy to follow book let her start with simple numbers, and finish with a detailed picture! As she grows more confident, her Sketch Book is starting to fill with impressive drawings!

  • I didn't like it, but maybe a kid would.

I thought it was kind of counter productive to have to write the numbers weirdly or at weird angles to draw these pictures. Kids are already JUST learning how to write their numbers and then this book comes at them and tells them they can draw this picture if they first draw a weird, incorrect, not-what-you'd-see-in-school number. I gave this book to a 5 year old who loves drawing and is learning. For someone who KNOWS their numbers absolutely...this would be good. For someone who has poor writing skills to begin with, this will only make things worse. They're drawn mostly with jacked up looking numbers. I would say it's compelling though, cause it is neat what they end up making from 24 (that's how many) different odd looking numbers.

  • Looks great and fun for kids.

I thought my little 8 year old little girl would be more enthusiastic about this drawing for kids but I guess I was wrong. Kids are just different and sometimes a little hard to buy the things they like.
