King of the Kites
We bought this pterodactyl for our 2 boys (and us of course!) and it is beyond amazing. So easy to put together, no faffing involved and it's just such a joy to fly. It looks awesome when it's up too, we always have lots of envious onlookers when we take it flying. I'd highly recommend this kite, it's so well made and such good quality and - it's a pterodactyl. Winning combination for sure

A good basic kite that flies easy(use tassels!)and attracts attention.but is expensive for what it is.
My experience was good and The kite launched 1st time,it was in the air for a solid hour on a hill in an educated guess of about 15mph winds so doesn’t take much to get you out.my 7 year old could control it EASILY and she really did enjoy herself and all the attention that came with it!wary dogs on the ground bark at it,lone birds like seagull or crows that don’t notice it until the last minute turn 180 degrees and bail out but also groups of birds will mob your kite lol so it makes for an interesting time in the right conditions. It is easy put together and is made of strong material and comes with a fair amount of line considering it is a kids kite(100m?).it is also a single line kite so flies itself basically. I myself expected a little more kite for my money to be honest BUT it seems well made so hopefully lasts and I can continue to use it to lure my daughter into the fresh air more often.I would suggest googling kites and seeing what’s out there for similar money because as good as the kite is you can see how you would quickly want to progress onto something like a small stunt kite as this kite IS so easy to fly you might start to want a little more to keep you interested,as a grown up at least!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This all but flies itself, very stable, but an exciting mover in the sky should one wish to heave it around, in fact it looks just like a real Pterodactyl, all be it a scale model of one. The noteable feature is the quality, proper ripstop material, strong considered construction make for a fine value for money kite. Amazingly cool
I want to say up front that I have not used this item as a kite so I can't comment on it's flying abilities although I'm sure they're amazing. I run a games store and bought this to hang from the ceiling to celebrate the release a the new set of Magic The Gathering that features dinosaurs. It looks amazing and is one of our most talked about additions, EVER. I have attached a photo of it soaring above our stock. I absolutely 100% love and recommend this item

Looks great, but doesn't fly that well.
It's a pretty neat looking kite and is also quite well made. It fits together very easily so you won't sit there for 45 minutes going through instructions on how to assemble it like some kites I've had. Just two struts in place and your more or less ready. Unfortunately I think the wings are just too small so there isn't enough surface area and consequently it needs a lot of wind to get it up, and a lot to keep it up there. I managed (in pretty windy conditions) to get it at full length of the string (which is reasonably high), but after 5 minutes when the wind subsided slightly it dropped like a stone and never really flew again comfortably. It does look cool when its up in the air and attracted the attention of plenty of kids who really liked the look and were eager to try flying it. Sadly It didn't stay up long enough for them to have a go. it really needs a bit of re-engineering in my opinion... which I'm going to do on mine myself.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Guessing durable, entertaining and educational.
Bought this as a birthday gift for my nephew, 7 yrs in April. He has not received it yet but I am hoping it is educational, entertaining and durable. He loves dino’s & lives by the sea so an ideal gift.
