Required reading
I read this years ago but probably not in great depth. Re-reading it, I find the text in places outdated, sexist and misogynistic, but it's reflective of prevailing views at the time it was written. It's also not aimed at the general public. But it was groundbreaking, and an important plank in our understanding of psychological manoeuvers and power games.
