Some very appealing designs in this book, bold shapes in various sizes, using few colours. At first surprised that so much thread was recommended for some projects, until I realised that it wasn't for eg. 5 skeins, but .5 as in 0.5 or half a skein for the stylised cat and .6 for the sun etc. which makes a lot more sense. A nice compact book too for those short of storage space.

Lovely selection of monochrome patterns which look striking with the right colour combination of stitching on aida fabric, e.g. white snowflakes on a dark blue background. I know what I'm doing for this year's Christmas cards!
