Fy screen replacement catch centre pull
ideal replacement to a broken fly-screen / blind window catch. its not easy to fit as you have to take one of the ends off the rail it fits to. these wont come off as wedged in on a plastic shaft that break, so best cut them off carefully at the end joint with a junior hack saw. You, need to slide out the fly screen net frame holder, and then take off the fly-screen net and then clamp it in place to the frame to stop it disappearing around the holder. Once you have the broken catch - or the left over bits including the centring piece, of it held in the groove it slots into, by sliding along the frame, using a suitable drift, ( small thin screwdriver will do ) you can replace doing the the reverse. you will either need a new end piece or use some wood to block the end of the frame and then screw the end cap back on it the wood in the fame. There is a replaced kit on ebay for all the parts at about £45. just take your time getting the end off and dismantling the bits. - make sure to clamp the fly screen to the frame otherwise its a fiddly job to get it back out from its holder. once done its a perfect replacement. next time i will do a video.
