Its not often you have the chance to read a series of 7 books which all follow the same story, in delicious detail, and lead you progressively through many highs and lows and twists and turns to the ultimate climax in this book. number7, The Master. Tara Sue Me is a very skilled writer. Her characters are very lifelike, and the details are very intimate, especially in this book, and she knows her subject, a full blown BDSM Master / Slave relationship. Whilst the characters are mostly the very well-off American businessmen and women, (and yes you've heard this before.. but this series did come FIRST, well before The Other One), in this book she creates a group of characters that develop. meet, relate to each other and form a lively and consistent group that 'play', live and love together in glorious detail. Tara really does understand the US 'scene', and all the codes and rules that limit and govern kink relationships there, and it works very well as a group dynamic.
