Almost perfect
This set is nearly perfect. I replaced a 25 year old Craftsman set that served me well. Mainly, the broken plastic case was the reason for replacement. The Dewalt set has a very sturdy case that I suspect will function fully for many years. Pros: All 6 pt. sockets!!! Wide variety of sizes. Good overlap in sizes in each drive size Solid tools with good ergonomics. Smooth ratchets Solid case Set doesn't include a bunch of screwdriver bits - counted as "pieces" Nice to have the extensions in each drive size and adapters. Cons: Sockets are held securely by the case, but almost too securely. The smaller pieces are a bit difficult to remove. They are laying on their side, so if I don't guess correctly, pulling out 3-4 sockets to find the right size is a little frustrating. It's heavy. Good quality and quantity will do that I guess. A few wrenches would be nice. Maybe even just one adjustable would help when a ratchet just won't do. Overall, my cons are nit-picky. I don't believe I could find a better value out there to fit my needs. I would not hesitate to buy more hand tools from Dewalt or recommend them to anyone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My first tool set and i love it!
I am a first time buyer of a complete set like this. I absolutely love it! Everything is neatly arranged in a durable carrying case so there is no more hunting for what u need, it's right in front of you! I would recommend this set to anyone. Better then I expected
6 point socket set, no missing socket sizes, wrenched are heavy built. All and all this kit is what I wanted, I searched 2 years to find a kid that didn’t include a bunch of useless screwdriver ends. I got this and a case of wrenches if I get in trouble I’m grabbing this box and my case of wrenches. I would say my only complaint and it’s not really a complaint. The size of the box is bigger then I thought. Will not fit in a tool box. It’s a tool box of its own (very heavy plastic case with 4 latches). Good assortment of tools, more geared towards a car/motorcycle/boat mechanic than the home handyman.
Has almost everything you would need to do some light to medium car/motorcycle repairs in one well assorted set w/o breaking the bank. HOWEVER, SHOP AROUND, I was able to buy this locally(it was in stock, no delivery waiting) for a better price.
