I enjoy historical books, and while the author can't change certain facts, he's made the interaction between people very interesting and added depth to the history

  • It's Con Iggulden so its good

I have read many books by Conn Iggulden with the history of Ghengi Khan being my favourite. I haven't actually read this book yet because it only arrived yesterday and I have the previous one to read first

  • Ravenspur

Having read the previous 3 novels in the series I was expecting more from this one. I was left just a little disappointed, but the content is based on fact, so there was little to work with. as a series, it is well rounded, but not as strong as the Emperor or Conqueror series. I will continue to follow Conn Iggulden as he a good English storyteller.

  • Very informative

This is the fourth in the series and really interesting however I found the second and third books a bit boring too much description about the actual preparation for the wars but overall I found the series to be very informative
