Chris felt sorry for two old folks who had lost their grandchildren . He felt like from the beginning there had to be more to their story. He was right after checking into their backgrounds and catching up with Holly. They were out to take their grandsons inheritance and kill Holly, Ian and Jamie (her twins). Chris still owned the house he and his fiancé were planning to live in. She died and Chris had not moved in, but used it to keep Holly and her twins safe. The grandparents sent thugs to kill Holly and the twins. The dog thwarted their efforts. Chris set a trap and snared the grandparents. Chris declared his love for Holly as she did to him. So much happens in this story related to Chris' family. Great sequel to the other Colton books. I loved it and highly recommend it .
