Cheapest /best upgrade you can have !
Huge difference, now I can play 1080p videos on YouTube without choppy image, great upgrade for just 9£ brand new ! Installation is difficult for somebody who does not have experience with disassembling laptops. Highly recommended ! Dell 1545, T9600 CPU change
Upgrade on a dell 1545, running win10, originally supplied with a T4400 (2.2 celeron single core) it was getting sluggish and freezing. Time to switch was less than 20 minutes. Bios version A14 is recommended and will accept up to the T9900 (3.2). The T9600 has shortened the boot time by a 1/3, somewhere near its win 7 boot time when new. Internet page changes are now virtually instant instead of a ten+ second delay. Ram upgrade beyond 2+2g is extortionate, this is at a reasonable cost and is quite spectacular for an old machine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
