National Trust Cookbook is utterly wonderful with delicious recipes suitable for cooks with a variety of skill levels. The inclusion of information about the recipe's and history of how they came about makes this book a compelling read. The baking recipes are superb, in particular the cakes All in all I'd would wholeheartedly recommend this for anyone with an interest of food history. In terms of value for money if you can get hold of this but it immediately you won't regret it
