Very detailed but rather pessimistic
Some good explanations but the text doesn't always match with the pictures/diagrams. As one mans restoration its fine but as a general guide its rather specific and very pessimistic! After reading this you'll be frightened by every noise you hear.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A different approach and very informative
This book is a very nice addition to the DS section of my library :I) I've thoroughly enjoyed browsing through the book - many practical issues addressed. Only negative thing is that I'd liked to have the figures numbered and referenced in the text (more like in a manual), but of course the book's a kind of a hybrid.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
