Great upgrade and lower electricity costs.
The tubes on my old until stopped working and you can't buy the fluorescent ones any more. However I wish I'd changed to Leds years ago. The tank looks so much brighter and it uses far less electricity. Very easy to set up, just make sure you get the tubes the right way round by matching the red dot on the tube with the red socket on the unit.

Good light -but expensive for LEDs
This light source is great but too expensive I think -but I know of no other source for my trigon tank. The LED tubes will be easier to keep clean than the old fluorescent tubes and the lack of a need for a jewel reflector (that corrodes quickly) is a big plus.

Very nice but a little pricey
This works well with nice bright even lighting and is relatively efficient and definitely the best fitting for my aquarium. The only downside is the relatively high price tag and no dimmer or timer switch but still pleased with it.

Really bright light
This is a big improvement over the traditional tubes that it replaced, A lot brighter. The only negative is that it comes with a plug moulded onto the cable which needed cutting off to feed it down between the back of the tank and the wall.
