Very Good Light
This was bought as a replacement for a T8 bulb unit which had failed, the LED bulbs produce a very nice light in the tank, not too bright and no need for reflectors any more as the light is directed down by the placement of the LED's in the unit. The big bonus is that as these are low power and use far less electricity than even the T*'s did they give off little to no heat and its far easier to regulate the tank temperature and less condensation in the hood. With no reflectors there is more space around the bulbs so makes day today feeding and maintenance simpler. I would recommend the LED units over standard bulbs .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
