  • Excellent controller, useful documentation, easy to connect and use

The controller connected to a 5m (150 LED) strip, and came with useful connectors to make that easy. Once connected, the supplied printed instructions were straightforward to follow allowing connection to the internal AP for configuration. The web interface was a useful test to show the SmartShow was able to control the LEDs. Once it was connected to the correct WiFi AP, I used QLC+ to control it. It was my first time connecting to a E1.31 device, but that part was surprisingly easy as well, and I was very quickly able to create an RGB matrix and start running some effects. The response time when changing effects was sometimes slow (a couple of seconds), but that is most likely due to the control software, once the effect was running it didn't seem to 'jump' or 'glitch'. So overall, I am very impressed, it works very well, if I had one suggestion for improvement it would be to add info to the label to explain what each of the LEDs mean, so I don't have to carry the printed manual around, they are very specific and useful but the difference between red and blue flashes and solid lights are not intuitive to remember!

  • Quality ArtNet controller

Fantastic artnet controller capable of running 4 universes of ws2812/11 pixels. the devices are highly reliable and have great wifi range providing you have a decent enough router/transmitter. The software admin panel for initially setting up the units has a good layout and some useful features for testing pixels, along with the options to set universe max channels, ip address, artnet or SACN etc.

  • Great little device

Works well, saves a lot of cabling. I haven't had the opportunity to test the WiFi reliability yet, in a show environment
