"Go anywhere" Sat Nav
Great little Sat-nav which is ready to run and pre-programmed and update-able from the internet. It comes with all the necessary accessories. It will also store photos & music. It operates reliably as a low cost navigation assistant and can be carried as an emergency back-up if you should lose or break your expensive one. It is easy enough to be use so that lending it to a friend temporarily, shouldn't be a problem. Worth every penny of it's surprisingly good price. Good Value against existing GPS's on the market, However ! Handbook IS NOT easy to read and digest
Bought this GPS to tour Europe as it is claimed to be with European mapping, great price, BUT!! Handbook is NOT easy to comprehend even using the online help, I am None the wiser.!! I thought I would save money buying this against upgrading my old TomTom Wrong! Graphics are good, no problems there. There is a delay in the audio instructions and the voice cuts off half way through a word! Rhe mapping is not the latest as claimed as I did a journey which I know reguralily and it was out of synch with the real journey. Trip was Newark A46 to Leicester A46 M1 junct 21 rhen off to my mothers in Narborough, return journey was the same, out of synch ! So TomTom is safe at being given away. Contacted manufacturer, they told me to do a reset, nothing seems to have changed and importantly, the Computer does not seem to recognise the device, no program seems to be downloaded, so how can I update the device? Handbook is no good for the British mindset, have told them about this problem, now it sits in its box not being used. In my mind, one should not have to WORK at fathoming out these devices, perhaps I'm stupid, but if all this was paid more attention too, It would sell like hot cakes, nothing was simple to find out, but I am 65 and not a geek, so would not buy another cheap one again, go for the TomTom update instead at £50 !!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
