LG have pioneered 4K TV and it shows and LG are pioneering the OLED 4K TVs which take TV to a whole new level - but those prices are still 'premium'. This 'entry level' set from LG has all the qualities of a very good picture (you cannot see the pixels) with a wide range of colour and lots of crisp detail. The set delivers good clear sound with enough bass to sound natural. We watched the Olympics in HD which was upscaled to 4K - and it's the best picture we've ever seen. The only minor drawback is there are only 2 HDMI input sockets. Fantastic Value - thoroughly recommended.
The 4K is a bit of a con really, but a good tv none the less. Perhaps you'd get even better value buying the standard HD as it is unlikely that 4K will offer any significant improvement on this size tv.
