Good value for money, easy to use, and plenty of channels.
Motorola always make good radios, the range is shorter than stated unless you have a clear line of sight. I have had clear comms over a distance of 1.8 miles. The signal is good and stable, and the handsets are easy to set up and use. NiMH batteries do not have the charge capacity of a LiON battery but they do the job, just have AAA batteries to hand to back them up is required. Overall a good radio that does not require a licence. These were bought to replace broken Kenwood radios used for retail security guards. Sent my daughter out with a radio, mostly bungalows in the area. 9 hundred yards then nothing.but for what I want them for will suiet me . Almost perfect radios
I’ve bought two sets of these for work & are almost perfect apart from when passing the server room in the building as it interferes with the signal. But the rest of the yard these are ideal for our half mile long yard.
