Entertaining and Thought-Provoking
The world Anne Bishop creates in this series is amazing - it makes you evaluate how we look at our world in reflection. Although it features shapeshifters they bear very little resemblance anything else in this genre. Plenty of action - some graphic gore, a little horror, intriguing politics with a tale of friendships and a burgeoning love story. The book could be a parable in many ways. Loved it. Loved the series.
