Flexible, Lightweight, Responsive
I was browsing PC World for a mid range tablet PC. Something I could do reports and write-ups on. Something I can carry around and hook up to WiFi when I need to. This was £650 in shop - I found a boxed new one on EBay for £370 - well worth the search. So far it has more than achieved any expectations I had of it. It's light enough, not too flimsy to stand being moved around and played with though. It's fast - I hate those PCs where you click and..... did I hit it or not and.... click - oh there's 2 now. This out performs my i7 gaming spec laptop - I don't game, I just hate waiting. It's adaptable. It comes with the posh pen gadget, that actually works. When I looked at it, I thought well that can't be much - wrong. It works as good as any Apple or Microsoft version I've seen in action. Bear in mind this is half the price of a Surface Pro and a bit cheaper than an iPad Pro. The screen is clear and sensitive. The tablet detaches easily - but why would you, unless it's for a game or sitting on the bog watching ... who knows. Battery life is good - Better than iPad, don't know about Microsoft's version. Tons better than previous Samsung and Acer Large Tablets. There is a larger version, which I believe is better still. This however is perfect for what I needed. I bought a £5.99 neoprene case from PC World bargain bin, that looks after the knocks and scrapes. The addition of Office 365 was a bonus - I use Word a lot and Open Office just doesn't cut it for me.
