UNFORTUNATELY NOT UP TO MY USUAL STANDARD - BUT BEST ALTERNATIVE
There is no doubt in my mind that the very best goji berries come from the Tibetan plateau unfortunately these are quite difficult to find and most goji berries come from China so I'm not as pure as the plateau. I realise that China claims Tibet but the Goji berries from the Tibetan plateau do appear a breed apart and grow in pure conditions only available in the region. I was not able to renew my normal supply of goji berries so searched around and found these ones which appear to be the only other ones I could find that came from the Tibetan plateau. On comparison, they appear smaller than my normal from Zen Valley ones and when soaked - not as plumptious or sweet. To be fair though, it may be that it has not been a good season for goji berries - I really cannot say One Way or Another. Hence the title, for me they are second best when compared with the ones I am used to. However, they are from the Tibetan plateau and organic so should be of similar high quality, and the best I was able to get at the moment.
