AUTHOR: Mark Baker has always been fascinated by wood. His father was a carpenter and joiner and, on leaving school, Mark served a five-year apprenticeship working for a local building firm, which included restoration work. He has also helped set up an industrial workshop for autistic adults and he has worked for some of the major manufacturers of woodturning tools in the UK. Mark is now the editor of Woodturning magazine and the group editor of all GMC Publications woodworking magazines. Turned Toys - Mark Baker
This is a brilliant and fun book written by one of the country's best known woodturners. It is well written with great photos and diagrams and some very creative ideas. The book also includes some more general advice that's very helpful. It is not just a great read but a helpful manual of ideas.
