Helps damping down vibrations.
I have used smaller ones of these, on lighter pieces of my hi-fi equipment. I needed ones for my heavy valve amplifier. They are capable of carrying the weight, but I can’t define how much they reduce the vibrations without expensive and highly sensitive equipment. But I consider it is worth the money to give better performance!
