Skillfully and beautifully written
I loved this book and have recommended to friends. We knew the Liptrots when we lived in Orkney and most of the people and places the author mentions in Orkney are known to me, so it was a very personal experience for me to be allowed to share in Amy Liptrot's very personal experience. The copy I purchased was described as 'Like New'; something of an exaggeration since the cover was damaged and the book well thumbed.
