Good bit of kit -bit faffy to set up - needs instructions
Heavy duty bit of kit, maybe lever arm could be 150mm longer to make lifting heavy bike bit easier?
Came in two pieces with arm need bolting on - simple.
Instructions on listing not very clear, (no instructions in box) I have three bikes, the round end of the threaded bar fitted none.
All you need is to slot the correct size standard half inch drive socket from your socket set on the round end for each side of the bike (they are usually different from one size to the other -mine are 17mm/24mm) you will need someone to hold the bike upright while you finger tighten the threaded bolt into position -few more turns on the end of the threaded bolt with a 12mm socket (not too tight it has to revolve)
Heart in mouth lever back and up it comes.
Then give the threaded bar a another turn to fully tighten before working on it.
Works well, a bit faffy setting it up but much stronger than a standard hook and bobbin stand. Instructions would be helpful or a link to a simple youtube tutorial
The stand makes it easy to work on your bike with out the worry of it falling of or over that's the good the not so good is the leaver handle could do with being a little longer to help lift a big bike easier. All in all the stand is well worth the money
Well made and does the job perfectly also packs away into a flat pack for storage. . It looks capable of lifting any bike. . Can handle the 1000DL no problem. . Very pleased with the purchase.
excellent addition to garage for bike without centre stand
i have a versys 1000 (250 Kg) without a centre stand.
set up using a rear paddock stand (to avoid scratching the fairing on the side) .
once set up it seems very sturdy and a good way to secure bikes for maintenance of the front wheel and forks without a centre stand.
on my versys i still have to prop engine with wood block to prevent it leaning forward but that is just the engine being heavy.
overall very satisfied with product.
I've had bikes since befor I had a license to ride them and it taken me to I'm 31 to get a center stand now I have one and wounded y I never got one so much more stable to work on my suoersports with this and feel comfortable leaving the bike a few days using it
