get the 55 or bigger dont waste your money on the smaller one

Best thing I've ever bought for a tank.
I can't fault it ,they literally thought of everything. the pump is in the water so its very quiet , it has a pop up indicator to tell you if it needs cleaning , a large tray for media,you can remove the tray and it clips onto the lid so you dont spill water everywhere , you can adjust the intake and the flow ,you can remove the media basket without moving or switching off the filter and it self fills so if you have power outtage it will start up again with no problems. there is a cable tidy and a holding clip you can attach to the side for a heater and it has a surface skimmer. the only thing that might be a problem is the intake,small fry would be sucked through the gaps but that can be solved by placing sponge inside the skimmer and sponge over the intake pipe. i cannot recommend this filter enough , love it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
